The Two inspirational Teens

Does the name’s Melati and Isabel Wijsen ring a bell, well if not then here is the story of how they said “ BYE BYE to PLASTIC BAGS” Right plastic bags are the number 1 polluter, you see them on trees, on road, in water, everywhere there so light that they just float and go with the wind. But these two sisters wanted to help their island of Bali. So then “BYE BYE PLASTIC BAGS”  was born

The island Bali is part of the island nation of Indonesia and its the second largest polluter when it comes to marine plastic. Melati and Isabel and the age of 18 and 16 decide to get their friends together, go online to start a petition. To their surprise they got  6,000 signatures in less than a day. People really did care for their home. They even organized a beach clean up.  They were drawing international attention and that of local politicians as well. They were inspiring  many people on their island and many others in Indonesia.  They have been named the world's most inspirational teens.

With their drive to make their island a better place, there was success, in Bali there is a law banning single-use plastic enforced in 2019. These two sisters inspired, and made changes to help their pollution in the water. They truly are inspirational teens.  Do you want to make a change, do you want to help your home?
